What does 2018 have in store for us?
In the physical at The House of Ariel Gate our dam and our new gorge was overflowing with water in December already!
Which is a prophetic sign for us of the year to come…we saw the gates open for the water to flow.
Apostle Natasha explained at our first meeting that the number 8 (Eight) is all aboutnew beginnings, just as something was cut off through our baptism in Christ. This is our covenant in the New Testament; like circumcision on the 8 (eighth) day was their entry under the old. It also means that there will be change!! What you sowed last year, and even in previous years, you will reap this year…
She continued by explaining that the number 18 (Eighteen) is all about righteousness.
Noah found grace (Gen 6:8), he was a just (or righteous) man, perfect in his generations, and he could then walk (halak) with God – read Genesis 6. God invites Noah and family into the ark because He says “I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation”(Genesis 7:1).
What does that mean for us?
Don’t let go of God, no matter what you are faced with!
(bad / good reports)
Start to live with an eternal focus, to also be found perfect in all your generations, just like Noah.
As humans, since the garden of Eden, we are terminally sick with sin, within our own mortal bodies. Physically we now die daily – we get older every hour. We need to work on ourselves in order to be found righteous in this year of rightouseness.
Start renewing your thinking. Pull down all your perceptions of how things are, aren’t or should be.
Let us enter in this ‘new’ year with great excitement and anticipation, by renewing our minds and thinking.
“I Appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and facilities] as living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, event the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”
