The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously, it must not go out.
(Leviticus 6:13)

By Apostle Natasha Grbich

It is high time to return our worship to the Lord, back to the way He set it in Leviticus.  The Lord is seeking our fire on the altar, we are those who are supposed to be keeping the flame burning. Part of the priestly service meant that someone was always on duty just to ensure that the fire never went out. Where are we in these days? News media is advertising the fact that many former ministers have forsaken the Lord. Does He ask us for too much? To the world out there we have presented a god of our own imagination, our own making, to the seekers of the Eternal we have subverted the image of God for our comfort. The focus of the church in our westernised culture has been very self focused to the point of narcissism. We have allowed our fiery relationship with the Lord to be sidelined in order to make the general public feel comfortable, to let them feel at home, even to make them as “happy” as we can, all in the house of the Lord! We have not asked the most important question of all – is the Lord “happy” in His house the way we have done things? Is the Lord “happy” with my life in fact?

Each year before Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), before the Feast of Tabernacles, we find ourselves in a transition period of introspection and of returning to the Lord. This year, by the grace of God, we are presented with that same opportunity. The opportunity is to seek the Lord while He may be found. Each year many people are no longer present with us, each year we face new challenges and new opportunities, this conference is no exception. Some will never have the opportunity again!

This is the time to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, we need to answer the call before it is too late, before the flame goes out completely!
