REPENTANCE GUIDELINES FOR DAY 37<\/u><\/strong>:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSinai was indeed a wilderness, a dry and desolate place, yet it was here that God chose to \u2018lasso\u2019 Israel and prove her.\u00a0 For it was in this wilderness,\u00a0 on Mount Sinai, where Moses received God\u2019s law.\u00a0\u00a0 As God called Moses up to the top of Mount Sinai to receive the Laws, He also called the people to consecration.\u00a0 The Lord chose this wilderness to consecrate His people. They were to wash their clothes, restrain from sexual relations and prepare themselves for His visitation.\u201d* <\/em>\u00a0(page 157)<\/p>\n

“In the same way that God called the people to purity and holiness under the First covenant, He also calls us to a higher level through the blood of Jesus, the Second Covenant.\u00a0 To be in covenant requires sanctification and holiness.\u00a0 He is a God who respects covenant relationships and the way for us to remain in covenant with Him is through purity of heart.\u00a0 Both covenants provide boundaries, directive for building the Tabernacle, the anointing of the priesthood, blessings and provision.\u00a0 Both Covenants require change, Radical change.\u201d* <\/em>(page 158)<\/p>\n
