REPENTANCE GUIDELINES FOR DAY 37:

We are using the book by Sandie Freed – Conquering The Antichrist Spirit* as a guideline and for informational purposes.

Read:  Exodus 19,  Leviticus,  Numbers  –  Wilderness of Sinai

“Sinai was indeed a wilderness, a dry and desolate place, yet it was here that God chose to ‘lasso’ Israel and prove her.  For it was in this wilderness,  on Mount Sinai, where Moses received God’s law.   As God called Moses up to the top of Mount Sinai to receive the Laws, He also called the people to consecration.  The Lord chose this wilderness to consecrate His people. They were to wash their clothes, restrain from sexual relations and prepare themselves for His visitation.”*  (page 157)

“In the same way that God called the people to purity and holiness under the First covenant, He also calls us to a higher level through the blood of Jesus, the Second Covenant.  To be in covenant requires sanctification and holiness.  He is a God who respects covenant relationships and the way for us to remain in covenant with Him is through purity of heart.  Both covenants provide boundaries, directive for building the Tabernacle, the anointing of the priesthood, blessings and provision.  Both Covenants require change, Radical change.”* (page 158)

Repent for :

  • Trying to get out of every desert through manipulation and promising God whatever but never making good of the promises and vows made to God
  • Repent for the above for yourself and your generations.
  • Repent as the Body of Christ – the Church
  • Repent for the mind-set in me generationally which says God doesn’t really require me to change or become sanctified.  Agree with God to allow His Spirit to work in you to produce deep and eternal sanctification and holiness.
  • Ask the Lord to do the same work in His Church and in this nation.
  • Repent for building an idol in our deserts to worship out of our impatience and unbelief.
