It is a privilege to spend the appointed Pentecost Feast Day at House of Ariel Gate. Apostle Natasha once again expanded our understanding on what Pentecost is all about and she made it clear that it has always been an “anniversary” of the bridal mandate we received at Mount Sinai.
As she previously explained in our feast, originally Pentecost was the day Israelites got married to God on Mount Sinai by receiving the ten commandments. Jumping more than 1500 years later, Jesus was crucified, rose from the dead and He appears to the disciples, where He commissions them and when He leaves 120 people receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
“Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them. “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
John 20:21-22
Apostle Natasha explained that this mandate is called The Great Commission. After Jesus defeated hell, He came back to commission His people and seal it with the stamp of the Holy Spirit. Meaning, each of us, when born again and when we take on the image of Christ are literally like “letters sent”. We each have a message (inside of us) and it is addressed to go to a specific place, area, even to the nations of the earth…
The Holy Spirit was not given to us to make us happy, or give us a destiny, the Holy Spirit is the seal of the “holy package” we are, the destiny is a literal ADDRESS that we are sent to.
Jesus message to us was John 3:16. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
If this was Jesus message, what is your message? and are you releasing that message?
When you arrive at you destined destination, and you “as the letter” are opened, the message:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27) needs to be seen by those who have been appointed to be the receivers of your message. Your message is not really about you at all – it is all about the Good News – evangelism comes from the word “angel” which simply means the messenger!
We ended the day with a feast that was prepared by our faithful volunteers, thanks again to the kitchen staff for a delicious ending!
This message is one we all need to listen to again to make sure we are charged with conviction to fulfill our “written message”!
